My primary interest is the old South-Eastern narrow gauge system. There
are a couple of abberations of course, like the 830. The 830 was constructed
in styrene usin LGB power bogies. It is battery powered and radio controlled.
Some of these photos were taken on the Adelaide Garden Railway Group layout
at the recent Model Railway Exhibition at Angle Park. The rest were taken
on my home layout. The Wx is scratch built and is powered by an LGB power
block in the tender. It is battery powered and radio controlled. T197,
the last T in the South-East was built for me by Allan Lewis in 1999.
He also built one for himself. It is also battery powered and radio controlled.
Steam Motor Coach No2 was also built for me by Allan Lewis, he has No1.
Y104 Was a joint effort by Allan and myself, Allan built Y82. I built
Yx 162 last year. The Y's and the Yx are powered by Lionel mechanisms
in the tender. Once again, battery power and radio control is used but
they can run on track power at the flick of a switch. The CFN cattle car
was built for me by Allan several years ago. The Cc, X & Y trucks are
representative of the sort of rolling stock I have been building for the
layout.
