Drawings for various lines of the South Australian Railways. These drawings are from various years and are the only curve and gradient drawings that were available at the time of scanning.
Lettering & Marking drawings are normally a scaled general arrangement drawing of a vehicle class that also shows stencilling information. These drawings are often the best to use for modelling as it gives leading dimensions, livery details and holds a recognised scale for working out other details.

Drawing indices for Islington constructed rail vehicles. This section covers drawings of all locomotive, rail cars and other rollingstock made by SAR. From this section you can identify the drawings needed to construct the vehicles from the ground up. - STILL TO COME
The build schedules are listings that show all drawings and materials used to construct the rollingstock for a particular build project. The schedules are listed on the outline drawing for most vehicles. - STILL TO COME

This section contain books of early rolling stock and SAR railway infrastructure like signal components and station cranes. There are some unusual and hard to find drawings in this section.

Single Line Station Yard Diagrams
These books show the station yard layouts for each line at a particular period of time. It shows track configurations and standing room for each track.

​This section contains the SAR station yard drawings that are mostly 40 feet to 1 inch scale. All yard plans are provided as PDF files as full size copies of the SAR drawings.
